This cosplay was the first part of my EPQ project. It is a redesign of the iconic Deadmau5 helmet. My design is inspired by succulents and thus has been given the name of Cactu5. I was inspired by the music which Deadmau5 produces and his helmet designs. After seeing other cosplayers at conventions put their own spins on the helmet I decided to challenge myself and become part of the community. I regularly use Cactu5 for events, but if I got to do the project all over again I would definitely spend more time designing the inside to be more comfortable during prolonged wear.
